ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say a man is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Rochester.

Rochester police say 51-year-old Theodore Blackey of Rochester was crossing Columbus Avenue just before noon on Saturday when he was hit by a car.

Authorities say the driver, 75-year-old Ronald Nichols, of Rochester, was leaving a Walgreens parking lot when his driver’s side mirror hit Blackey.

Blackey was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment of a head injury and abrasions.

The investigation is continuing.
