JEFFERSONVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Two teenagers have been found shot to death in a vehicle behind Twiggs County High School in what authorities are investigating as a possible murder-suicide.

Sheriff Darren Mitchum tells news outlets that the bodies of 19-year-old Alexia D. Jackson of Macon and 18-year-old Knickolus B. Jones of Jeffersonville were found Wednesday morning by two employees of the county’s public school system near the school’s baseball field.

Deputies say they found a pistol inside the car. They do not yet have a motive for the killings.

Officials say video surveillance shows the vehicle arriving at the complex about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday with the teenagers inside. Mitchum says there is no footage of the slayings.

WMGT-TV (https://bit.ly/1TXIM22 ) reports that school is out for the summer, so no students were on campus.
