SPRING CREEK, Pa. (AP) - State police say a car was speeding before it crashed in northwestern Pennsylvania, killing the 18-year-old driver and seriously injuring three teen passengers.

Troopers say Jordan Ayala crashed the car at about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday along Old Route 77 in Springcreek Township, Warren County. That’s about 110 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

Police say the car hit an embankment and went airborne before smashing into a tree and landing upside-down.

Police say no one in the car was wearing a seat belt. The other victims were two males and one female. All were from Corry.

The names of the other victims were not immediately available Thursday.
