NATALBANY, La. (AP) - Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s deputies are investigating a double homicide in the small community of Natalbany, just north of Hammond.

Sheriff Daniel Edwards told reporters at the scene deputies responded to a report of shots fired about 4:30 a.m. Thursday and found two men dead in a small vehicle.

Later Thursday, the sheriff’s office identified the victims as 31-year-old Randy Bickham, of Springfield, and 31-year-old Charleston Mitchell, of Hammond.

The sheriff’s office said a motive has not been established and no suspects have been identified.
