VERNON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a 29-year-old motorcyclist has died after he lost control of the vehicle while trying to navigate a sharp right curve in Vernon, Vermont.

Police said Jordan Peduzzi, of Vernon, was riding south on U.S. Route 5 near the Vernon/Guilford town line at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. He collided with a guardrail and was ejected from the motorcycle, which traveled about 250 feet.

He died at the scene.
