NOBLE, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police are investigating an ATV crash that claimed the life of a 13-year-old Zwolle girl.

Assistant Sabine Parish Coroner Ron Rivers says the accident happened off Louisiana Highway 191 west of Noble.

Rivers says Melyssa Anderson was driving a Polaris 800 when she lost control of the off-road vehicle in a left-hand curve.

He says Anderson was ejected and later found by a passer-by on the roadway.

Rivers says she was not wearing a helmet.

He says Anderson was pronounced dead at Sabine Medical Center.
