VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office says a task force investigating recent arsons at Vancouver-area churches believes the same person or group likely started the fires.

The Columbian reports (https://goo.gl/iV18g9 ) the task force consists of investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, county fire marshal’s office and Vancouver police and fire departments.

Fires were set at First United Congregational Church of Christ May 25; Liberty Bible Church of the Nazarene the next day; and the former Bethesda Slavic Church on Sunday.

The fire marshal’s office says up to $20,000 in reward money is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
