MONROE, La. (AP) - Two Winnfield men face up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of possession of a stolen firearm.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley says 33-year-old Ashton L. Howard and 26-year-old Aaron Thomas pleaded guilty in a hearing last week before U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen L. Hayes.

Finley says Thomas also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.

Their pleas will become final when accepted by U.S. District Judge Robert G. James.

Howard and Thomas each face up to 10 years in prison, one to three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Sept. 12.
