BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts gasoline prices are falling just in time for the summer driving season.

AAA Northeast’s price survey released Monday found self-serve, regular selling for an average of $2.24 per gallon, 6 cents less than a week ago.

The Massachusetts price is 9 cents per gallon lower than the national average for the same grade, and 52 cents lower than it was a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.10 per gallon and as high as $2.49.
