TULSA, Okla. (AP) - An escape from a state prison in Oklahoma City has been recaptured in Tulsa after more than 10 months on the run.

The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/28JuCze ) that 38-year-old Jarred Lee Hynes was found and arrested Monday morning at a southwest Tulsa apartment complex.

Details of the arrest were not immediately released.

Hynes escaped Aug. 7, 2015, from the Clara Waters Community Corrections Center in Oklahoma City where he was serving a sentence for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

The Clara Waters Community Center is a low-security center that provides substance abuse treatment for inmates who are eligible for programs such as work release.
