DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a man reported that two armed robbers ganged up on him at a stoplight on the west side of Des Moines.

The Des Moines Register reports (https://dmreg.co/28J12dL ) that the robbery occurred a little after 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The 20-year-old Altoona man told police that men carrying silver revolvers came up on both sides of his car. One entered the passenger side and the other menaced the victim through his driver’s side window.

The man says the robbers threatened to shoot him if he went to police and said they’d gotten his address from items in the car. They got away with the man’s Social Security card, credit cards and $50 in cash.

No arrests have been reported.
