REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - Rehoboth Beach police are searching for two suspects they say robbed a woman and threw her from a moving vehicle.

Police tell news outlets that the incident occurred Saturday night after one of the suspects approached the 26-year-old woman and grabbed her purse.

Authorities say the male suspect then ran toward a car driven by a woman. The victim attempted to stop the suspects by reaching into the car in an effort to turn it off and take the keys. The driver drove off, causing the victim to be thrown onto the road.

Officials say the victim sustained multiple injuries.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
