PAULSBORO, N.J. (AP) - Officials say a shooting in southern New Jersey has left one person dead.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/28Ih3Qk ) multiple shots were fired late Sunday night in Paulsboro. Chief Vernon Marino says the victim was hit at least twice.

He was taken to a Woodbury hospital, where he died.

Officials say it’s unclear what led up to the shooting. The suspect remains at-large.

Police are trying to get a description of the vehicle used in the shooting as well as a description of the shooter.
