LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say shots were fired after a road rage incident on Highway 95.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/28Jy9RA ) that no injuries were reported after the Sunday night confrontation involving two cars.

Police say a person inside one of the vehicles shot at the other car while they headed north on the highway.

They exited the highway and occupants of both vehicles got out of their cars.

Police say the driver whose car had been shot at had also been armed with a gun and tried to detain the shooting suspect. The men struggled, and a gun discharged into the ground.

No injuries were reported.

Further details about the incident have not been released. An investigation remains ongoing.
