BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say an all-terrain vehicle crash has killed one man and injured another in southern Minnesota.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday in Blooming Prairie. Police Chief Greg Skillestad says 32-year-old Nathan McFarland of Austin was driving the ATV when he struck a tree.
Attempts to revive McFarland failed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Kevin Maday, was treated for a broken nose, cracked ribs and cuts and bruises.
Both men worked for a motorcycle shop in Blooming Prairie and were moving the ATV when the crash happened.
KTTC-TV (https://bit.ly/28T3vX3 ) reports the crash remains under investigation, but the police chief says there did not seem to be any mechanical issues with the ATV.
