GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - The death of a 29-year-old Detroit-area man whose body was found in a small western Michigan Lake is being considered an accident.
MLive.com reports (https://bit.ly/28QHrrO ) Thursday that police say Matthew Vo of Southfield died from asphyxiation by drowning. Authorities are waiting for toxicology results.
Vo’s body was found Monday morning in Oceana County’s Lucky Lake. He had been attending the 4-day Lakes of Fire festival Saturday at Lucky Lake Campground in Grant Township, northwest of Grand Rapids.
He last was seen early Sunday morning and a missing persons’ report was filed with police.
