PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona remain unchanged at the pumps this week.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.22 a gallon.

This week’s national average is $2.31 per gallon, down by 4 cents from last week.

Triple-A analysts say as supply appears more than capable of keeping pace with growing demand, prices should continue to fall nationally and may start to drop in Arizona, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Tucson currently has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $2.06 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.41.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $2.02 a gallon and California has the highest at $2.87.
