MERRIFIELD, Va. (AP) - Police have arrested a man accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl at a Target store in Merrifield.

Fairfax County police say 19-year-old Brendon Cordova turned himself in Thursday morning and was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Police say they identified Cordova with the help of an anonymous tip.

The alleged molestation occurred on Saturday at the Target in the Mosaic District development. Police say an 11-year-old girl reported that a man touched her buttocks while she was inside the store with her father. Police say surveillance video confirmed the girl’s account of what happened.

Cordova’s attorney, Dickson Young, says his client has no criminal history and arranged to turn himself in after learning he was a suspect. He declined to comment on the substance of the allegations.
