ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has admitted he stabbed an acquaintance to death at a mobile home park.

Richard Ferrara pleaded guilty on Thursday to aggravated manslaughter in the August 2014 stabbing death of 41-year-old William Strock.

Strock was found lying on the ground outside his Hamilton Township mobile home. He was stabbed in the torso and died several hours later at a hospital.

Atlantic County prosecutors had said Ferrara, of Camden, was living in Strock’s unit when the stabbing occurred.

Ferrara faces up to 15 years in a state prison at his sentencing next month under the agreement. The 51-year-old would have to serve nearly 13 years behind bars before being eligible for parole.

This story has been corrected to show the man’s last name is Ferrara, not Ferrera, in the fifth paragraph.
