PHOENIX (AP) - Police in Phoenix say they’re investigating a shooting that has left a married couple dead and appears to be a murder-suicide.

They say the shooting occurred Friday afternoon at a home in north-central Phoenix.

Police say a 30-year-old man called his mother, asking her to come over to the home.

When she arrived, she reportedly heard a gunshot and found the man and his 32-year-old wife dead.

Police didn’t immediately release the names of the couple, but say they didn’t have any children.

Police didn’t immediately say if a motive for the shootings is known.
