MIAMI (AP) - Police have arrested a man in connection with the robbery and shooting of a Swedish student in Miami.

Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat tells news organizations that authorities arrested 25-year-old Devin Lewis Thursday on charges of attempted murder and armed robbery with a firearm.

Officials say Lewis robbed and shot 28-year-old Frank Hammar on June 7. Hammar, a recent graduate of Miami Ad School, was walking in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami after finishing dinner with his parents. He was shot twice during the incident and treated at a nearby hospital.

Hammar identified Lewis from a lineup on Thursday.

It’s unclear whether Lewis has an attorney.
