DOVER, Del. (AP) - A wrong-way driver has been arrested after police say she was found with drugs and a gun inside her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Dover police say 40-year-old Crystal Kimber of Dover faces several charges including firearm by a prohibited person and possession of marijuana after being taken into custody on Wednesday.

Police Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman says in a statement that officers had observed Kimber traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way road.

She was stopped, during which time Hoffman says officers discovered several grams of marijuana and a 9mm Glock handgun inside the vehicle.

Kimber was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses. She was released on bond.

It isn’t immediately clear if she has an attorney.
