HOLLY HILL, S.C. (AP) - Deputies say a fisherman has found the purse that belonged to an Orangeburg County woman killed in December.

Investigators told The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg (https://bit.ly/290wsPh ) that deputies found Loretta Bunch’s driver’s license and other papers in the bag located Thursday.

Authorities say man told them the purse was tangled in a bush underwater at his favorite spot to fish near Holly Hill.

Deputies say Bunch’s body was found nearby three days after the 38-year-old woman disappeared on Christmas.

Prosecutors say 45-year-old Harold Pratt is charged with murder and is awaiting trial.
