PEMBROKE, N.H. (AP) - The former dean of students at a New Hampshire high school has been indicted on felony drug possession charges in connection with drugs police say were found at Pembroke Academy.

The Concord Monitor reports (https://bit.ly/28T9R3h ) that 36-year-old Rekha Luther, of Manchester, is facing charges she had fentanyl and illegal steroids in her possession at the school when she was arrested Feb. 17.

The indictments, dated June 15, were released by the clerk’s office on Friday.

Luther is also facing two “enhanced felony” charges for allegedly having drugs in a school zone.

Her lawyer declined to comment.

Luther was hired by Pembroke Academy last year, after spending 12 years in the Nashua School District.

Luther resigned from the school on March 22.
