BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Ken Roczen won the Red Bull Tennessee National on Saturday for his fourth victory in the first five Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship events, sweeping both 450 Class motos in muggy and muddy conditions at Muddy Creek Raceway.

The RCH Suzuki rider from Germany has won nine of the first 10 motos this season, and likely would have won all 10 had he not had bike issues while leading at Glen Helen. He has 10 career 450 victories.

Kawasaki Eli Tomac was second in both motos.

“That (second moto win) felt good. That’s the way you want to win a race,” Roczen said. “(Tomac) was pushing during the final laps, but I was able to hold him off. This was one of the hotter races (this season), which made it tougher. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing (in training) because it seems to be working. We were able to get another win today and go 1-1, so we’ll just keep working.”

Roczen leads second-place Tomac by 47 points in the season standings.

“We were just nailing our lines and clicking off laps out there,” Tomac said. “He got a little out of touch, but we were able to close in. He was just riding awesome and kept me behind him. It’s good. We’ll take this and move on to fight another day. I really just want to beat him across the line next weekend.”

Suzuki’s Broc Tickle was third overall. He was sixth in the first moto and third in the second.

Red Bull KTM factory rider Ryan Dungey missed his second straight race after cracking a vertebra at Thunder Valley.

Yamaha’s Cooper Webb raced to his first 250 Class victory of the season and fourth overall. He won the second moto after finishing second in the first.

“I’m just tired of losing,” Webb said. “These fans are awesome. I could hear them out there and it kept me going. This is what I consider to be a home race, so I’d rather win this race more than any other. I just cannot thank all these fans enough for their support.”

Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy, a three-time winner this season, was second overall. He won the first moto and was seventh in the second. Savatgy has a 12-point lead over Webb.
