PHOENIX (AP) - Police say one person has been shot at a north Phoenix hotel.

Officers were at the scene of the shooting Saturday morning near Union Hills Drive and 27th Avenue.

Sgt. Vince Lewis says the victim who was shot suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

Police believe a person who walked into a hospital with a stab wound is also connected to the shooting at the hotel. The stabbing victim is expected to survive.

According to authorities, both were wounded during an attempted robbery in one of the rooms.

Police believe there are up to two suspects and that they are known to the victims.
