DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Police say a 15-year-old accused in a south Alabama shooting has been arrested.

Al.com (https://bit.ly/28Zfkep ) reports that the teenager was arrested Friday on a second-degree assault charge. Dothan Police say a teenager was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting occurred when an argument between several juveniles escalated.

The suspect is being held at the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center.
