LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) - Authorities in southwest Washington state say the body of a 52-year-old woman has been recovered from the Cowlitz River.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office says that a friend reported Catherine Marie Sellards missing Saturday morning.

Police say the caller reported at 8 a.m. that she and Sellards were camping and that Sellards went into the river at about 1 a.m. saying the river had healing power.

Authorities located the body downstream at about 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sheriff’s office says there’s no indication of foul play.
