NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A new lot has been opened at Nashville International Airport for drivers who are waiting for travelers to arrive.

The new cell phone waiting lot contains 80 spaces and offers free parking.

It is located in the northeast corner of the existing valet lot. The airport says in a news release the lot is easily accessible for motorists exiting from Interstate 40 East, Exit 216A.

The existing cell phone waiting lot remains open. It contains 49 free spaces.

Construction on the lot began in April. It opened for use earlier this week.
