NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A disbarred New York attorney is headed to prison for his role in a ticket resale fraud scheme and a real estate investment fraud conspiracy that bilked multiple victims out of more than $3 million,

Federal prosecutors in New Jersey say Pasquale “Pat” Stiso received a 43-month sentence on Tuesday. The 55-year-old New Rochelle man also must pay $460,000 in restitution.

Stiso was convicted on wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy charges.

Prosecutors say Stiso told people he was working with another man who claimed to be an investor, broker, and developer of various purported investments. The other man got substantial investments for various projects that prosecutors say he didn’t have any involvement in or didn’t exist.
