KENNER, La. (AP) - Kenner police say a restaurant manager stabbed during an armed robbery has died and a former employee is in custody.

Police Chief Michael Glaser says 21-year-old Taylor Friloux died Wednesday morning at a hospital from stab wounds to the head, neck and chest she received in the 1:30 a.m. robbery.

Glaser says two men entered a Raising Canes as workers were taking out the trash.

He identified the suspect as 23-year-old Josh Every. He says police are searching for the second suspect.

Glaser says Every will face first-degree murder and armed robbery charges.

Police say Every was arrested at his mother’s home in LaPlace.
