CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A Summerville man is charged with killing one man and wounding another at a Dorchester County restaurant.

Local media outlets report that 34-year-old Keunte Cobbs was arrested Monday and is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Warrants say that 22-year-old Brannon Mack of Summerville was killed when he was shot as many as nine times at a restaurant on June 5. Another man was shot twice. Authorities say the men were shot because one of them had robbed Cobbs.

During a Tuesday bond hearing Cobbs denied any knowledge of the shooting telling a magistrate no one explained why he was being arrested. He’s still in jail because a magistrate cannot set bond on a murder charge.
