JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. (AP) - Police say road rage or racing may have led to a double-fatal crash on Route 51 in a Pittsburgh suburb.

Nineteen-year-old Eric Hussey, of Monongahela, and 30-year-old Justin Busko, of Baldwin, were killed when the car they were in crashed shortly after 7 a.m. Monday in Jefferson Hills. Their vehicle overturned before striking a curb and a concrete Jersey barrier.

But on Thursday Allegheny County police announced witnesses saw another car near the victims’ vehicle before it crashed. Lt. Andrew Schurman says it appears the vehicles were engaged in a road-rage situation or possibly racing.

Authorities haven’t said which dead man was driving the crashed vehicle.

County homicide detectives and Jefferson Hills police are investigating.
