NEW YORK (AP) - Police say they’ve made two arrests in the armed robbery, beating and carjacking of a priest outside a Staten Island church.

The Staten Island Advance (https://bit.ly/1UAdAFR ) says Kerry Pack and Antwine Lucas have been arrested on charges of robbery and possession of stolen property.

The Rev. Marc Roselli was accosted as he got out of his car around 5 a.m. Thursday.

He gave up his wallet. Then a suspect punched him in the face. Both men fled in his car.

The priest suffered a black eye but still said Mass seven hours after the attack.

There was no immediate information on attorneys who could comment on the defendants’ behalf.
