FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - A car struck and killed two young men who were standing behind their disabled BMW in a southbound land of Interstate 95 near Fort Lauderdale.

Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Mark Wysocky said the crash happened just after midnight Friday.

The incident report says a Mercedes driven by 32-year-old Max Louis Citrin hit Rakan Alnittki and Sultan Alotaibi, both 20.

Both men died at the scene.

The highway was closed until 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Wysocky says the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
