YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a man accused of shooting another man to death in a Yonkers park.

Yonkers Police said Robert Daniels was arrested Friday on a murder charge in connection with the May 31 shooting.

Authorities allege Daniels fatally shot 29-year-old Joseph Huguet inside Doyle Park.

Police said Huguet had been shot multiple times in the torso.

Investigators said they had interviewed several witnesses and canvassed the neighborhood for surveillance video before identifying Daniels as a suspect.

Daniels is expected to be arraigned Saturday. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
