SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Spartanburg County authorities have arrested a 21-year-old woman for killing a man while riding with him in a car and her boyfriend has been charged with helping dump the body under a bridge.

Sheriff’s deputies said the investigation started when officers found a car in Lake Bowen on Monday. No one was in the car, but investigators say there was evidence something violent happened inside.

Deputies say they questioned Brittany Foster and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Keenen Hines, and Foster said she had killed 45-year-old Anthony Biggerstaff, while Hines said he left the body under a bridge 11 miles away.

Authorities didn’t give a motive for the killing.

Foster is charged with murder, while Hines is charged with accessory after a felony. It wasn’t known if either suspect had a lawyer.
