MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police say two people, including a 3-year-old girl, were wounded in a shooting on the city’s north side.

A statement from the Milwaukee Police Department says the 3-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman suffered injuries that aren’t considered to be life-threatening in the shooting that was reported around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The department says the child and the woman were wounded during an argument among a group of people.

Police say the child was expected to be released from a hospital late Wednesday.

No other information was immediately available.
