GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man whose body was found in the Colorado River just west of Glenwood Springs.

The Daily Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/29dIGnJ ) that the Garfield County Coroner’s Office says commercial rafters on Saturday found the body of 49-year-old Jonathan Carl Rounsaville of Glenwood Springs.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of Rounsaville’s death. Coroner Robert Glassmire says there were no signs of trauma on the body or any indication of foul play. Glassmire says he will likely conclude that the man drowned if nothing else is found.

Officials are still waiting for results of toxicology tests to see if drugs or alcohol were involved.

Glassmire said in a news release that investigators don’t know what Rounsaville was doing before he died.
