SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - Hillary Clinton will make a campaign stop in northeastern Pennsylvania next week.

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee will appear with Vice President Joe Biden at an event in the Scranton area on July 8. Her campaign says Clinton and Biden will discuss the economy.

Both have ties to the region. Clinton’s grandfather worked in a lace mill in Scranton, and her father grew up there. Biden spent his early childhood in Scranton.

Clinton also campaigned in the city ahead of the Pennsylvania primary in April.
