PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A worker at a nonprofit parenting center has been convicted of harassment for having a conversation of a sexual nature with a 14-year-old girl.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (https://on.mgmadv.com/29bQ4Qa ) 54-year-old Reuben Hall was found guilty in Autauga County District Court Thursday.

Hall worked at the Alabama Parent Education Center in Wetumpka and investigators have said he allegedly grabbed the girl’s shirt twice while he was talking to her and told other children to go inside.

District Attorney Randall Houston says Hall was trying to discuss sex with the teen and his office considered the discussion inappropriate.

The Alabama Parent Education Center provides services to families of children with disabilities.

Hall’s 90-day sentence has been suspended and he’s ordered to have no contact with the girl or her family.
