CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Police have released surveillance video of a suspect who they say stabbed a cab driver multiple times during a robbery in Camden.

The video shows the suspect stumble head first out of the cab’s window early Wednesday and take off running after the cab crashed into a parked car in front of an apartment complex.

Police say they believe the 50-year-old cab driver and the passenger got into a dispute over the fare.

Police say the cab driver was stabbed about four to five times in the shoulder area. Officials say he deliberately crashed the car as a reaction to being attacked. A bystander drove him to an area hospital.

His name hasn’t officially been released. Police are searching for the suspect.
