SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Sparks police are asking for the public’s help in the search for three female shoplifters who made off with $3,800 worth of merchandise from a CVS Pharmacy.

Police released a description Thursday of the three black women in their 30s accused of stealing from the store on Oddie Boulevard the evening of May 25.

Authorities say an employee who saw the women placing items in a large purse confronted them, but they became verbally aggressive and fled the store with the stolen goods.

The first suspect is about 5-foot-2, 100 pounds with shoulder-length hair and a tattoo or dark scar on the left side of her chest.

The second is about 5-foot-7, 170 pounds with long curly black hair with brown highlights and a pointy nose.

The third is about 5-foot-5, 280 pounds with long curly hair.
