WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia police have charged a 19-year-old man with burglarizing two schools in Washington.

The Washington Post reports (https://wapo.st/1ZmbhaV ) that Tyree Irving was arrested after police found a stolen van with school property and a gun. Police tracked Irving, who is on probation for a gun conviction, to the van using a GPS ankle bracelet he was wearing.

Police say they were seeking Irving and three others. Police say Irving smashed a glass door at Barnard Elementary School on April 2 and stole 14 iPads and two computers.

Police say the group also burglarized Houston Elementary School and stole two computers and an iPad.
