DOVER, Del. (AP) - State and federal law enforcement officials say two people have been arrested in connection to a sweeping drug and organized crime ring.

Police say Sohail Zeeshan, 39, and Linda Mcglotten, 49, both Delaware residents, were arrested on May 23 and June 3 respectively, and charged with racketeering, money laundering and other charges.

Police say Zeeshan and Mcglotten are part of a large-scale heroin distribution and money laundering ring that 13 federal agencies have been investigating for more than two years.

Police say they confiscated 74,425 bags of heroin during a raid on May 11, the most recovered in a single seizure in Delaware history.

Police say 11 other suspects have been indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury.
