PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) - A Kingston man has been charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

The Kitsap Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1Pc8D1L ) that the 48-year-old man is accused of meeting the girl through social media and living with her for about two months at a Kingston apartment.

According to court documents, the man paid for the girl to take a train from Florida to Washington after meeting her on social media. A roommate told investigators that the girl was living there when he moved in and that at first the suspect said she was his niece, and later he said they were in a relationship.

The man has been charged with first-degree kidnapping, with an aggravator for sexual motivation and third-degree rape of a child.
