PITTSBURGH (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania have identified the second driver killed in a two-car crash in Pittsburgh that also critically injured a woman.

The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office said 42-year-old Derek Hill died in the crash just after dawn Saturday.

Public safety officials said Hill and 22-year-old Robert Daniel Jr. were both driving sedans that collided on Route 65 near the McKees Rocks bridge just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the cars caught fire, and two people who were passing used a fire extinguisher to put it out and pull out the two people inside.

A female passenger from that car was critically injured but was later listed in stable condition at Allegheny General Hospital.
