BOSTON (AP) - Police have recovered the body of a missing kayaker from a Halifax pond.

Police were called to the pond Friday afternoon for a report of a man struggling in the water alongside a kayak. Officers were unable to find the man. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says Sunday afternoon a diver located the body of 28-year-old Boston resident Shi Hu. His body was taken to the medical examiner’s office.

Meanwhile, authorities say a man they rescued from Walden Pond has died.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office says the 32-year-old man was pulled from the lake Saturday evening.

He was taken to a hospital where he died Sunday morning.
