BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 63-year-old man whose fishing boat was found after being reported missing in southeast Georgia.

Petty Officer Stephen Lehman says the coast guard is still searching Sunday for Charles Johnson, who was reported missing by his wife Saturday afternoon. Lehman says Johnson’s wife told watch standers at Coast Guard Sector Charleston that her husband hadn’t returned from a fishing trip he had planned off Brunswick on Friday.

Lehman says the coast guard launched a search about 3 p.m. Saturday with a helicopter from its Savannah Air Station and small boats.
