Women’s doubles final: No. 5 Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic of France beat No. 7 Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina of Russia 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

Stat of the Day: 4 - Consecutive major championships won by Djokovic, the first man to hold all four Grand Slam titles simultaneously since Rod Laver in 1969.

Quote of the Day: “Obviously, as any other year, I was hoping that this is the year.” - Djokovic, who won his first French Open title on his 12th appearance in the tournament and completed a career Grand Slam.
